During the session, I will focus on the injured area, and apply gentle to moderate pressure to promote healing without causing additional pain or irritation. You may feel some discomfort as the muscles and tissues are worked on, but the massage should not be overly painful. Communication is key!—be sure to let me know if the pressure is too intense or if you experience any discomfort.
After the session, you may feel some soreness in the treated area, but this should subside within a day or two. Drinking plenty of water after your massage can help aid in the recovery process.
